Your First Visit: What to Expect

Consultation

Following the completion of our new patient paperwork, you will be taken in to see the doctor. The doctor will discuss your medical history and the symptoms you are expressing.

 

Examination

A physical exam will follow that focuses on the areas of complaint.This helps the doctor determine the severity and cause of your condition. The doctor may feel the areas of concern.

 

Adjustment

This is a quick and painless procedure in most instances. If you get an adjustment at your first visit, the chiropractor may apply pressure, pull, or twist portions of your body to realign you. You may hear a “clicking” sound, this is completely normal and may or may not occur.
